UP NEXT: Grapes of WrathWith the loss of their farm at the onset of the Great Depression, the now impoverished Joad family loads their truck with their few belongings and set their sights on California. As the three generations of Joads navigate through the Dust Bowl of Oklahoma to the empty promises of California, Tom, their newly returned ex-convict son, learns what became of the world since his years in prison, while Ma remains determined to keep her family together at any cost. Scored with American folk songs, Grapes of Wrath follows the plight of the Joad family as they steer through the stark realities one of America’s most trying periods.
